A clickbait, a marketing trick used by dishonest "sellers" to attract inexperienced "buyers". But it is fact that people still continue making the same critical mistake which is buying a gym membership in order to reduce weight (burn fat).
The first reason when the problem areas are decreasing very slow if at all while going to the gym and that extra weight nearly is not being lowered at all we have already discussed in a previous article – compensation. That by training, we begin to consciously or subconsciously increase our food portions.
The second reason: I will not go in depth into the biochemical processes that we consider in the program but will simply state a scientifically proven fact: during training you “burn” fat but not the one on your stomach, waist or hips. Therefore, in fact, all "fat-burning workouts" are simply, deliberately or no, misleading. This is marketing and nothing else. Specifically, during training, slightly different substrates “burn”, which in general will not affect the daily metabolic cycle. So, is it all completely false then? Well... is there a difference between the terms "lie" and "not telling everything"? You can surely decide for yourself. But under certain conditions, fat "burns" AFTER certain types of training (and exactly the one that you want to "burn ").
Well, should you train and go to the gym then? Absolutely! This is very important as it leads to a better health, relieves stress and so-on. An interesting fact that we also consider in the program is that training increases the number of mitochondria and their size in our muscle cells. Why is it so important? Because the fat “burns” exactly in the mitochondria. And the more mitochondria in a cell the more it can “burn” fat per minute. Thus, by trainings we increase the fat-burning ability and efficiency of the cell.
