Dream body

Most likely I will not be wrong, if I assume that each one of us has our own image of an ideal body. Less often - this is us in our best years, more often - this is a model from some fitness magazine or some kind of movie or sports star. Perfect “six pack abs”, powerful shoulders, developed chest and large biceps - for a man, a thin waist, a flat stomach, a graceful line of the hips, slender legs and buttocks of a perfect shape for a woman.

Is it beautiful? Absolutely! Will six pack abs or perfect legs make you happy? Absolutely not.
Let's be honest, many people with a "perfect" body on the pages of magazines or on social networks are likely to use all the features of some kind of photoshop, as well as advantageous poses. Those ones who really have an ideal body are usually young, have an athletic past or present, have not given birth, and, most importantly, it is their job to look good. This job is about eating right, exercising a lot and sleeping well. Let's not forget about the various pharmacological substances to get a smaller percentage of body fat and more muscles. As a result, building and maintaining an ideal body is an incredible amount of work, both mental and physical. Years of deprivation, severe diet restrictions and exhausting workouts will surely lead anyone to 11-15% of body fat but WHY?

Let me give you a personal yet a professional opinion. Everybody needs and ideal image as this is a goal towards which we are moving. But still, my professional experience and knowledge suggests that the IDEAL body is when you are, first of all, healthy. Excess fat does not affect your hormones, digestion and cardiovascular system. You are cheerful, energetic, enduring and enjoy any physical activity.
Plus, you are not ashamed of yourself. You do not think how to sit down so that your belly does not stick out, how to stop constantly pulling it in when taking a photo. You wear the clothes you want and it perfectly fits you. You feel confident without clothes: both at home in the bedroom and on the beach. Trust me, for that you do not need 11-15% of body fat. If the percentage of fat in your body is 16-18%, then all of the above will be about you. This is not so difficult to achieve. Of course, you will have to go through some work, change something in your life, restrict yourself in something for a while. Note: "restrict", not "exclude completely" (sweets, candy, alcohol, etc.). But this is surely far from the hell that fitness models, athletes and movie stars live in. And it's not that long. I’ll also reveal a secret - it’s very easy to maintain what you have achieved later.











Как показывает моя практика, люди боятся своих желаний. Они смотрят на идеальную картинку и понимают, что такого они никогда не достигнут. Это их сильно демотивирует даже начинать работу. Это ловушка нашего мышления. Выход из нее – понимание, что вы будете гордиться своим телом, своим результатом задолго до фигуры Бреда Питта в фильме «Троя» или фигуры Ирины Шейк в журнале «Спортс иллюстрэйтид».

As my practice shows, people are afraid of their desires. They look at the perfect picture and understand that they will never achieve this. This absolutely demotivates them to even start any type of transformation work. But this is the trap of our thinking. The way out of it is to fully understand that you will be proud of your body and your result long before the body of Brad Pitt in the movie “Troy” or the body of Irina Shayk in “Sports Illustrated” magazine.

Remember, there was a time when you couldn't drive a car, prepare an annual financial statement or sing. But someone taught you this, gave you knowledge, support and later you gained your own experience. Now it's all the regular routine for you. It's the same with your body as all you lack is knowledge. You need a professional who will help, teach, explain and support. The work of a specialist is to focus you on the main aspect and remove unnecessary fears, myths, and doubts from your head. And in terms of the ideal body, which I wrote above, it is definitely an achievable goal.
